What we do
Build an EMS around your real activities, services and environmental impacts, considering a life-cycle perspective and the 2026 edition’s clearer environmental-management expectations.
Specific deliverables
Identify environmental aspects, impacts and significance criteria for operations, procurement and relevant life-cycle stages.
Identify applicable legislation and other obligations, responsibilities and the process for evaluating compliance.
Put suitable controls around waste, resource use, emissions, hazardous substances, contractors and applicable emergency scenarios.
Review relevant climate-related context, environmental conditions and the effects of organisational and operational change.
Translate environmental policy and priorities into measurable targets, monitoring and reporting arrangements.
Prepare EMS documentation, awareness training, internal audit evidence and management-review inputs.
Project delivery
Confirm the project scope, review existing arrangements and identify gaps and priorities.
Engage leadership, understand organisational context and plan objectives, responsibilities and actions.
Develop processes, procedures, registers and controls tailored to your operations.
Put the system into practice and train personnel in their roles and responsibilities.
Monitor performance, conduct internal audits and support management review and improvement.
Support certification readiness, audit preparation and responses to certification audit findings.
Our delivery model
Your nominated project manager coordinates the delivery plan, stakeholders, milestones and reporting. Involvement scales with organisational size and scope.
Hands-on consultants establish usable controls, practical processes, registers, documented information and measurable performance arrangements.
Competent auditors examine implementation and effectiveness. We arrange suitable objectivity by avoiding auditors reviewing their own work where practicable.
Standard-specific awareness and implementation training — including a proposed four-hour all-staff session and TNEC certificate of attendance.
Scheduled management engagement helps leadership establish ownership, resource decisions and evidence of commitment throughout the project.
After handover, book the expertise you need at an agreed day rate. No ongoing retainer is required to retain ownership of your management system.

You choose when to engage TNEC — and when not to.
Our ongoing ISO and IMS maintenance support is available at an agreed day rate, scoped to the assistance you actually need. No compulsory monthly maintenance subscription or long-term support contract. Your procedures, registers, records and management system remain under your organisation's control. We make it easy for your team to operate independently, with specialist support available as needed.
A separately agreed implementation project or booked service has its own written scope, fees and cancellation terms. “No Lock-In” refers to optional ongoing maintenance support, not a waiver of agreed project commitments.
